T47i Announcement

We will have these up on the site soon for pre-order in fitments for DUB, 30mm, Shimano Hollowtech2, and GXP. Our T47i works in all of Trek's newest 85.5 T47 anagram bikes: Domane, Madone (SLR9), Emonda, and all the rest as well. It also works in all conventional 86.5 T47's and the BBcorrect (T47 BBRight) system that's been introduced on Factor's OSTRO VAM. The "I" in T47i stands for internal. The other type of T47 is the E, or external version. It's pretty self-explanatory; if it's T47 and it sticks out on either side of the frame like a BSA or Italian threaded cup, it's the external type. If it is T47 and threads into the frame almost entirely, with only the tool-interface flanges visible post-install, it's the internal type. We'll have the T47e's up on the site soon too, so don't sweat it.

This is one of our pre-production T47i bottom brackets this will fit Trek's 85.5 T47 and then it'll of course fit the 86.5 T47. It'll also fit the new BB Correct bottom bracket that factor has introduced which is basically like the BBRight version of the T47 version of BBRight so to speak. So that is what you'll get right here now what everybody's used to is this stuff right here from this is one from one of our competitors anyway this is it goes in from both sides here I've got a little bottom bracket deal right here that you would this is something you would you'd weld into a bike or bond into a bike and then they go in just like that of course ours is a lot different as you can see it's one piece. So how does it work well it's pretty simple if you come on in here you see we've got this Delrin piece right here that screws in from this side and then you have one of these bottom brackets right here which is which is this right there and it screws in from this side just like so now you're going whenever you buy from us you're going to get a tool with the bottom bracket so you won't have to buy anything but it's got an 8mm drive. If you want to do it that way or you can use what we like here and use a one of the old Shimano bottom bracket tools to go ahead and screw it in just like this and uh it's pretty simple there's nothing more entertaining and seeming and I left this open so you guys can see how this comes through the other side when you're screwing it in it just you see it pushing straight up in there just like that until it is all the way never works out on video you know until it screws all the way in and it's home on both sides and that is how that right there is going to work more coming this will be up on our site for pre-sale very soon and we'll be shipping them in about two weeks
