This text is the transcript for this video: SRAM cranks come in three basic varieties: DUB, 30mm, and GXP. When installed in the bike it can be hard to tell them apart, and this generally necessitates removal. But that's a pain, and it's completely unnecessary if you know this simple way to discern one from another without resorting to disassembly. BBInfinite is here to solve the bottom bracket creaking and squeaking that's ruining your ride. BBInfinite doesn't just fix a bottom bracket creak, we deliver the highest spin performance of any bottom bracket system out there. Faster and creak-free? Absolutely, with BBInfinite. SRAM cranks come in three varieties. They come in GXP. They come in DUB. And they come in 30mm spindle. When it is installed in the bike it can be very difficult to tell the difference between certain of these. Now, DUB is easy, and we can get that one out right away: DUB cranks are going to say DUB on it. It's going to say DUB somewhere on it on the outside, usually on the fixing bolt. So that's easy. Now our problem gets to be telling the difference between GXP and 30mm. Now when it's installed in the bike, once again this is all you're going to be presented with right there. Or in the case of this one, that's all you're going to see. Or this is all you're going to see and see how this one looks quite a bit different. That's a 30mm, but this is also 30mm right here. And you can tell if this was just inside of your bike. You really wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The way to do it, is GXP has a chromoly spindle, so a magnet will stick to it, which is really handy because all of them have this metal on the outside from where the spindle gets pressed in and maybe it's got a cryofit, and then you see that right there? It sticks to it. So, all you have to do is walk up to your bike with a magnet, see that it's GXP, or if you go up and say, I think that's GXP, and you touch it with the magnet, and nothing happens: It's aluminum; in which case it's a 30mm spindle. So, there you go, easy peasy.
