When you buy a Ceramitech Pulley kit of any kind from us you will receive a lot of extra parts such as extra seals in case one gets damaged during a future servicing as well as an assortment of bearing shields. These shields have different hole sizes in the middle to adapt the pulleys to the differing bolt diameters found on the many derailleurs the pulleys fit. In this video, we show you how to set up the tricky Sram Eagle upper pulley without fuss. This Eagle pulley installation is also applicable to all or Sram's 1X road systems.
So you bought a set of BBInfinite pulleys and you go to put them on your bike and you're faced with a rather daunting selection of these little dust shields right here all different kinds now the reason for this is uh there are gonna be different bolt diameters and different situations with different applications let's look specifically at a SRAM eagle application and come on in here now the lower pulley is pretty easy it's just two 5mm but up here on the top you see how SRAM has this boss sticking out here and what you need is you need this this here let's get that in the frame this 6mm one right here and it'll slide right over this little boss if I can actually do this on a video oh I did and then what you need to do is uh come in here and remove one of these remove this back piece right here so you're going to stick the pulley on there and it's going to fit on there right there and these small fasteners like that instead of having to sweat like oh no boom it's just like that you don't have to worry about stripping them out
