Here's an example of something you don't want to have happen to you, but it very well could and what has happened is if you want to come in here and take a look, the inner race and the balls are no longer part of that outer race that's what's stuck in there. The outer race is stuck in there- this is how it should look right here right - this is how it does look okay, that's a problem right? Because this right here this middle part has been completely blown out now how do we do this well there's no way to grab it to pull it and that's what everybody would want to do so the next thing and the next option is to come through this way with a uh with a drift now you notice this is a this is a this track here is for balls so it's rounded so there's really no purchase to be had now what I did was uh this is not going to work so i took another one right a little thinner and I went and put in a vise and i whacked it with a hammer to bend it over and then I ground this nice chisel tip into it because the hope is we can come through this side and then gain purchase now the roundedness of this is still a problem so we're going to use this dremel tool right now to grind down inside there what I want to do is I want to come down really squarely so that this tip has something to grab into okay so don't you don't want to be in an angle you want to get down really square let's do that right now so what I did is I cut those four notches. They don't have to be really deep they just need to if you want to come in here they need to be enough for this to get down inside there you see I can actually really get on there now whereas here it just wants to slip right off so I'm going to go ahead and begin looking you should always look I'm going to begin extracting right now so like I said whether this has all right and then one more here now guys I know you could just show this in a cut scene or two but what I really want to do is I want you guys to be able to really see how it works from start to finish now you hold it right there while i grab this there you go you can see the hole is now nice and empty no damage done no mess no fuss and it came right out just like that and this one happens to not be one of our bearings once again this can happen to any bearing at any time so it's a good idea to know how to get it out without a lot of trouble
