In this technical video, we demonstrate how to install a BBInfinite PressFit bottom bracket module correctly.
This video covers a general BBInfinite module installation including PressFit30, BBRight, Specialized OSBB and all DirectFit Shimano and Campagnolo models specific model instructions refer to the installation instructions included with the module you are installing. In addition to the common shop tools materials, you see here you will need the retaining compound specified by the installation instructions for the module you are installing. park tool press hhp-2 The module driver and standoff bushings specific to the module you are installing after removing the old press-fit bottom bracket according to manufacturer's instructions thoroughly clean and de-grease the frame bottom bracket shell using Scotch-Brite fine pad and either White Lightning clean streak or isopropyl alcohol allow frame shell to dry completely ensure outside of module is oil and grease free at this time next start module in frame shell using hand pressure do not apply any oil or grease to the frame shell or to the module using Park Tool press hhp-2 and required module driver drive the module into the frame about three quarters of the way and stop on frames without a full length inner bottom bracket sleeve the module will become loose in the frame once it is pressed past the first stage of the shell apply a thin coat of retaining compound to the frame bottom bracket shell and to the exposed interface of the module with the standoff bushing in place drive the module in without stopping until the module stop flange is flush against the frame the module is now installed continue assembly and setup using the instructions specific to the BBInfinite module you just installed if you do not have the instruction sheet a pdf version is available for download at bbinfinite.com thank you
